[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got it for my wife as a Mother's day gift. She loves it. She's used it to make croissant (just like the ones in Paris), cookies, and cheese cake. I also noticed that many of the online home cooking classes also use this model as I wanted the next model up but storing that would not have been possible in our apartment.

I got this for Christmas from my husband and just live it. I make the Communion Bread for our church and use my mixer to do it. Couldn't be easier!

Very pleased...just a bit noisier than old unit

Don't have/need the fancy accessories, but it came with a 'pouring shield' that nicely prevents spills when adding wet ingredients to a mix. Would give it 5 stars if the motor was as quiet as the retired unit. I would definitely recommend the Artisan for the home baker.

I have been married for over 25 years and have never had a mixer. I have always mixed everything by hand. What a wonderful product to add to my kitchen. My husband wanted it as much as I did. Saves time. I know now what I have been missing. My mother had a Kitchen Aid mixer from the 1970's that still works today.

I have been wanting a Kitchen Aid Artisan mixer for the longest time. I finally got myself one for my birthday .
I absolutely LOVE it. I used it to make my Christmas cookies. It made mixing the ingredient so easy and fun.
I use it to make my whipped mashed potatoes and everything in between.
This is the best birthday present ever. It was defiantly worth the wait. If I had known how versitile and easy to use; I would have gotten it so much sooner .
I'm so proud if my beautiful red mixer.
