[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got it for Christmas. And this is the best mixer I have ever had! Its so smooth, quiet and efficient. I LOVE making up cookies, brownies, cakes, etc... it is definitely worth the money.

I bought this for myself for Christmas. My old stand mixer which was another brand finally played out after almost forty years. I had been wanting the Kitchen Aid mixer in red for many years. I like the way it looks in my kitchen, and I love the way it operates. It is simple to use and mixes ingredients with ease. The finished products are delicious! We love it! After years of longing for this mixer, I received one as a wedding gift from my co-workers. My husband and I are both thrilled. (He was the one who insisted we look for a gift box big enough to possibly be a mixer.) The ladies at work got the first batch of cupcakes, of course!
The mixer is powerful, easy to use after a quick review of the owner's manual, well designed and VERY solid. The color is rich and it makes a beautiful statement just sitting on the counter. It takes up surprisingly less space than you would think and made quick work of stiff oatmeal cookie dough.
We are looking forward to purchasing additional attachments to amp up the fun!

Now I have retired and I am enjoying making cakes, cookies, & pies. I always give away half of whatever I make. My Sister has enjoyed that.

This kitchenaid was given to me by my mother, one of the greatest gift ever. I use it as often as twice weekly. The thing that I enjoy the most is that the clean up is easy and that prep time is cut in half.
