[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a xmas present. I love it! Works great. Only two things I would change. You need the mixer with the scrapper on the sides. It is the best tool to have for this mixer. The only other thing I would love is a larger mixing bowl. Five quarts just isn't quite big enough with my large family. I looked for bigger bowl but the largest is 6 quart.

I bougth my artisan stand mixer, a few years ago, I love it, and I don´t use often , lately makes a strange sound when heated , and I feel it has weakened the work , it dissapoint me because is an expensive mixer

I got this as a wedding gift. Its the staple of the kitchen. I use it for everything, its used everyday- the power is great and always keeps up with whatever I am working on. This stand mixer is such a happy color also- it makes me happy! This is the best kitchen appliance to get because you can get other attachments like a noodle maker and other attachments that are super fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my mixer came with nylon coated beater that CHIPPED. Where the chipped pieces wound up is anybody's guess. Pretty scary. This is now a well known issue, as indicated from the many reports from others online. When I contacted Kitchenaid about a replacement they did not accept any culpability for the faulty equipment and offered no recompense other than to suggest I buy a new beater. Very poor. Overall quality not the same as product of old. Major disappointment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this mixer recently. I have only used the mixer a couple of times. The times I used this mixer, it was easy to use, does a great job with mixing ingredients, attachments simple to change, and better yet easy to clean.
