I use to hate pulling my old mixer out, and scraping the sides constantly, this one is so attractive I leave it on my counter (it is pretty heavy). Baking just seems to go much quicker with this mixer. It doesn't bump on the counter like my old one, if it is a big batch, and I only need to scrape the bowl a few times. Clean up is not a chore either, everything comes off and on very easily. I love mine so much I bought each of my daughters one, and they love theirs as well.
Pros: Design, Performance, easy to use
Cons: it is heavy best to leave it out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Why didn't I buy one of these years ago? I love it. Today I used it to mix a cookie batch; what used to take me several minutes only took seconds! And no sore arthritic hands, either. I totally recommend this mixmaster!

I have wanted a KitchenAid for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately, I have never had the extra money to afford such a luxury. My daughter, who is big on fulfilling my bucket list, bought me one and had it delivered to my doorstep without my knowledge. I was stunned and even told the delivery guy that there must be a mistake. He laughed and said "looks like you have some baking to do" and confirmed that it was all mine. I love baking and cooking and am a self-proclaimed chef. While I am not, the family just humors me anyway.
I have had my mixer for a week and have used it daily. I have so many baked goods around the house and need to slow down a bit, but I just can't. I'm addicted to, in love with and would even marry if I could.
Thank you KitchenAid for making such a superb product and products. I will cherish this gift the rest of my life.
