My 39 year old harvest gold KitchenAid mixer finally bit the dust. I would not have any other mixer to replace it other than another KitchenAid. I'm happy to have an additional glass bowl and handle on the metal bowl.
The quality between my previous mixer and my new mixer appears to be the same except for the metal bowls. My previous one was made in the USA but the new one is made in India.
I look forward to another 39 years!!!

I had a stand mixer years ago when my four kids were all home and baking was a daily event. When the mixer breathed its last, I bought a Kitchen Aid hand mixer. It worked well, but after I did a little remodeling, I finally had space again for another stand mixer. Since it had been at least 15 years since my last experience with one, I was in for a happy surprise at the power it had and the very easy work ability of it. Love the black color, love the operating ease, and am all around happy with the purchase.

My mother had the pro 600 that my sister and I bought her. She was used to her hand mixer so she never really used it. When she passed away my sister and I started using it to make Mexican bread. However..it was difficult because whenever I had a hankering to bake..I would have to drive over to my sister's to use the Kitchenaid. I was hooked on that mixer! So I decided to purchase one of my own! I love it! The color is perfect in my kitchen and it gets me baking..whipping..shredding chicken..so easy! I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis..so it's no problem to use. I truly feel that the reputation and quality was worth every penny.
