I don't do a lot of baking, but when I did I always wished I had a KitchenAid for ease and being able to walk away while it did the work, rather than work with a hand mixer. I finally decided to break down and buy a KitchenAid stand mixer. I always thought it was too expensive, but after having this for only a few weeks I wish I would have bought one years ago! This mixer is sturdy and easy to use. It has so much room so now I am not flinging flour around trying to make cookies with the hand mixer. If you are considering a KitchenAid and are hesitating because of price, I say do it. It will definitely be worth the price in the long run.

I have had a KitchenAid Stand Mixer for the past 35+ years. My current mixer was a gift from my son. I told him he could throw the old one out since it had been sitting in a house with sulfur water...he said that he plugged it in and IT STILL RUNS! Best mixer brand ever.
