This is my second KitchenAid mixer. My first one was 20+ years old and was just starting to show signs that it might be time to start thinking about replacing it. I never considered another brand of stand mixer. The durability and quality of my KitchenAid mixer is second to none. I upgraded from the Classic to the Artisan. I put the Classic mixer away for my daughter, even though it is over 20 years old and starting to shown signs of its age. When my daughter moves into her own home, I believe she will still get some good years out of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I asked my son for a new mixer since with arthritis the function features were hard to activaten on my Sunbeam. Rhis was the choice since it can add attachments to do many other functions and the necessary knobs etc. Operate easily. I did like the optional smaller bowl with my old mixer though. That wpuld be a good option for the Kitchenaid as well.

After years of owning other Kitchenaid products and our last mixer breaking, not a Kitchenaid, i decided to upgrade to this model. Boy and I glad I did. Pizza dough, biscuits, cakes, everything you thought at this is tackled with ease. No regrets and would buy again if I had to.

This product is okay. My first issue is, trying to add your ingredients in the bowl while it is mixing, there is not a whole lot of room to add stuff, it will hit the beater and gets all up in the top of the beater shaft (Example like flour). Second, some of the ingredients get caught down at the bottom of the bowl in the divot and didn't mix it up.

I got this as a Christmas present so I haven't had it long, but I have used it several times already and it has worked great. It is fairly simple to use and I really like that there are so many attachments that can be purchased to use with it.
