I didn't need a new KinchenAid, but really wanted a red one... so glad I purchased it! So far...so good. My old KitchenAid (15 years) is packed up in the new mixer box all ready to go to one of my kids when the time comes. Can't tell you how many asked to buy my old one.

This mixer was a gift from my husband for Christmas. I have been wanting one for years. I really do love the way it mixes, the way it works. My complaint is I am not real happy with the size of the bowl. I wish it was not so tall because there is no room to add ingredients as you are mixing. I also would like the bowl to be larger. It seems that years ago, the bowls were larger diameter and not so tall. There just does not seem to be enough room to scrape the sides of the bowl or add ingredients anymore. Other than that, I honestly do love it.

Keeps things flowing in the kitchen when you need your hands for cooking and not mixing, kneading, or stirring. How'd I go without one for so long? Just wish all the attachments were dishwasher safe, it'd make cleanup much easier when I use the ones that aren't.

I have wanted one of these mixers for many many years. My family bought me this one for my birthday this year. It definitely is one of the best gifts I've ever gotten. Every year I make gingerbread houses with my kindergarten class and this year it will make mixing the frosting so much faster! I love my mixer!
