I have always wanted a stand mixer and my teams at work all came together and gave my new husband and I this for our wedding gift. It's simply amazing! It works like a dream and is super easy to operate. I have bought the slicer kit, meat grinder kit and have the splash lid. I have used all these items and they all work very well and are easy to use and clean. I never realized how much you can do with this mixer.

I recently moved into my own place- and something seemed to be missing. I became obsessed with Macarons and invested in the kitchen aid mixer to get them done right. Then I discovered all the other uses and I realized this kitchen tool is as vital to a functioning kitchen as other major appliances. I suggest doing your research before you buy it, it's a hefty price. I looked into the other series of kitchen aid mixers, but chose this due to it's mixing reviews (gets to all the ingredients) and it's size (mini is difficult to add to due to edges being smaller).

I got this as an early Christmas present from my husband and it is now my most used counter-top appliance. Making cookie dough is a breeze now after mixing by hand for so many years. If you do a lot of baking and don't already have one, then what are you waiting for?
