Having fun with the Artisan!

We bought this because my husband likes to make bread. He has made several interesting recipes. We also find that it makes fantastic creamy mashed potatoes. Looking forward to trying many new recipes with the Artisan. Plus the Empire Red looks great in our neutral kitchen.

Excellent tool for all types of cooks

After remodeling our kitchen last year my husband surprised me with a Kitchen Aide mixer. I was so excited I couldn't stand it. The most difficult part was choosing a color, I finally selected a watermelon Kitchen Aide and LOVE IT!! It did take some getting used to but I have to admit cooking for Christmas last year was so easy. The only thing I didn't like were some of the mixers came with only the glass bowls and I was wanting the stainless. I would think it would be nice to let the person buying the mixer pick between the stainless or glass mixing bowl. I'm a klutz and can see myself dropping and breaking the glass bowl. I have no other issues and am happy I have my mixer and would never trade it in..

solid piece - its fairly heavy, and works beautifully.
Have not used the other attachments/mixers but I have no doubt that they would work fine.
Only compliant is, when I got to move the mixer, if you slide it, it makes a black mark on the countertop, which is hard to get off!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the mixer for my birthday last month. I love it. I had a “Vintage Oyster mixer set” … I have updated and so glad I did. So easy to clean after using. Looking forward to many hours of baking and creating in the future. I got the glass mixing bowl and cover as well. I’m very blessed.
