I bake on the side - mainly for my children's birthdays and Christmas. Recently, I ventured into fondant & royal icing and I needed to invest in a stand mixer. I LOVE this mixer and wish I would have purchased one years ago. The pouring shield is great for containing splatters. I also purchased the flex-edge beater and would highly recommend that as well.

I bought my Artisan KitchenAid mixer in December and I LOVE the ease of using it! I can whip out 3 dozen cookies in no time and they are always delicious! I use it to make mashed potatoes, too, in minutes! I waited many years to get my mixer and I am so happy!
