I hadn't made divinity candy for the 28 years we have been married-just didn't have a mixer strong enough to beat it to desired consistency and dullness. My husband got me this mixer for our anniversary and made the best divinity I have ever made!! Along with all my special Christmas breads-esp. stollen. It made a wonderful dough and didn't destroy the candied cherries and pineapple in the stollen. A huge success and time saver.
