My mother bought her first KtchenAid mixer when I was about 10 years old. So all of my baking experience has been with KitchenAid. I've definitely been spoiled.
I got married in May and was ecstatic to receive this mixer from our registry.
My mothers has a different model and I love this new model with the tilting back head. It makes it easier to add ingredients as you mix. The new model is a lot quieter than the old, as well. It's so great to have the included attachments.
I will always buy KitchenAid products! They never disappoint!

I brought my Artisan stand mixer with me from California and bought a transformer so I could use it in a country with 220 instead of 110V--that is how much I love this machine! I have had it more than 25 years now, and I just made a batch of bread with it--it just never gives up! This is the single most cherished item in my collection of appliances. I have most of the attachments and use them frequently. If you can only buy one counter-top appliance, this should be it!
