Love it.... Have used it every day since buying it for bread and baking. But am a bit worried when I cook bread. I am nervous when I knead the bread that it shakes the machine a lot. I am following all the rules - using just "#2" to knead the bread and not using a lot of flour. So I love it but am a bit worried.

Makes quick work of meringues and seriously speedy deliciously flaky pastry for pies and scones. Two thumbs up.
Bread: A steep learning curve on this front and not yet convinced that machine is better - even locked and at the lowest setting the head jumps around with the effort and heats up. And despite the volume ratings, I have divide the (5 cup flour) dough to kneed one loaf at a time otherwise the dough climbs up the hook. I was expecting a machine that I could turn on and walk away from while it did the heavy lifting, but this is not the case. Left alone bread dough ends up very dry on the bottom and too gooey on top. It requires some babysitting and flipping the dough once in a while.
Accessories: The whisk, paddle and dough hook are great and easy to clean. The "no mess" plastic cover thing is all lies - half my flour ends up on the counter unless I add 1Tbsp at a time.

I do a lot of baking, especially around the holidays. It was actually an early Christmas present from my mom but it will be hard to beat it next year! My favorite thing is you don't have to stop mixing cause you forgot something in the fridge or need to take something out of the oven. I Would recommend this to anyone who cooks!

I have always wanted the KitchenAid mixer but always put off purchasing. My father-inlaw purchased it for me for my birthday! He told me that I was the best cook he knew! I absolutely love my mixer. I just hope I can stand up to what my father-inlaw said!
