Wish I had bought this mixer a long time ago, it does what it's supposed to do and I love it. Great machine that makes baking a snap. I have a hard time kneading dough due to arthritis so really appreciate how easy it is to mix heavy dough.

My Artisan mixer was given to me by one of my sons and his family family. I haven't had the opportunity to use it much. I made cheese straws from my Mother's recipe, but the oldest grandson's birthday is in February and since I make the family birthday pound cakes (from my Grandmother's recipe) I know it will be better than using a hand mixer.

This mixer is by far, one of the best appliances I've ever owned (second only to my coffee maker, which I cannot live without). Great build quality, solid performance and ingredients stay IN the bowl. The reputation of the name doesn't hurt either!

The only complaints I have: The mixer itself is very heavy and is awkard when trying to scrape the sides of the bowl. Other than that this mixer is amazing! I use it not only as a mixer but also a grinder, chopper, and grater! I am planning to buy the icecream maker as well. I love that the mixer is sturdy and built for the long haul. There are so many options in terms of attachments. I will never buy another brand mixer!
