Got this for myself a month ago and I am having such fun using it to make cupcakes, frostings, etc. It's so versatile and super easy to use. Love the stainless mixing bowl with the handle. Love that handle!

Wonderful mixer - disappointed with bowl

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mixer with a Birthday & Christmas present. So far I've mixed cookie dough and pizza dough with it. I love the mixer. However, the stainless steel bowl should come with a WARNING. There was residue left in it from the polishing process. The instructions said to simply wash the bowl. My first two sticks of butter turned gray. We looked up the problem on the internet and found out about the polishing of the bowl. We tried the recommended olive oil to clean the bowl. No luck - I had to throw out my second two sticks of butter since they turned gray again. Then we tried the lemon juice and salt combo and that finally cleaned the bowl. It was a long afternoon baking cookies and very expensive. This is my first stand mixer - I've been using a hand held mixer for over thirty years. I'm glad my husband bought it but, I still hate the bowl.
