In all seriousness, I do not know how I got on prior to getting this mixer. I use it on a near-daily basis (from mashing potatoes to making bread. Especially bread). Sturdy and stylish. Love it,

I bought my mixer two weeks ago. I've mixed bread dough and cookie mixes. It sure beats mixing and kneading by hand. I've also used a couple recipes from the manual. Worth the price if you do much baking.

Received this artisan mixer as an early Christmas gift. Can't wait to get more attachments. I purchased the grinder and the slicing/shredding tools tried everything the first day. Makes cooking and baking a breeze!!

I could write a page or two praising this mixer but will focus on bread making since that's what I consistantly use it for.We love home made bread but with arthritis, kneading by hand isn't always possible. I'd had a 4.5 quart Kitchen Aid mixer for 5+ years but after weekly bread making with it, noticed increasing vibration so decided to get one with more power. This model kneads dough beautifully with minimal vibrations: no dancing on the countertop! The dough texture is supurb and the follow-up kneading by hand prior to shaping the loaves is absolutely minimal. As for design: all the attachments are well positioned to accomplish their tasks and neither rub the sides of the bowl nor are too far away. The shield keeps flour from flying out when added while mixing and simply lifts off when you want to touch the dough to check texture. The power gradations are well thought out. I recommend it 100%.
