Finally!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the mixer as a gift about 15 years ago and lost it in a move. I am so glad to finally have the KitchenAid stand up mixer back in my kitchen. I never want to be without one again. Now to start ordering all of the attachments.......

Disappointed because ....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As excited as I was to receive the 5 quart mixer, it did not work in any outlet when I plugged it in. I was so disappointed because I love and trust all my Kitchen Aid mixers. (I have owned only two with life spans of almost 50 years!.) I bake with a group of ladies and we mail homemade treats to deployed service men and my old Kitchen Aid mixer has made laboring sounds when I mix up batches of biscotti and other cookies. My rating below is based on my first two mixers, not this one that has been returned for credit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plenty of power for all kinds of jobs. I would give this mixer 5 stars if I had a larger kitchen with plenty of counter space. It weighs 26 pounds, and I found it too inconvenient to store in the cabinet where my old stand mixer sat. Takes up a lot of counter space I begrudgingly made room for.

Amazing for dough making!

I received this as a gift for my birthday and I could not be happier with it! It has cut my dough making time by more than half and makes any dough to the perfect consistency. I can't wait to try the different attachments it comes with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have owned only Kitchen Mixers. First one was a wedding gift in 1976. After 20 years it was getting tired. We replaced it with a second one which is perfectly functional after 25 years. Only replaced it because we replaced counter tops and I wanted a red one. These mixers have seen the normal duties of baking for a growing family, grinding vegetables and venison burger.

Why Did I Wait?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been married 30 years. We both spend lots of time in the Kitchen. Our question now is, "Why did we wait so long to buy and appliance that makes life easier, food better, and is so obviously essential?" This high quality, tough, and great looking mixer is now, we see, almost as essential as a refrigerator. It does exactly what it is designed to do and looks good in the corner of the counter!
