If you bake breads regularly this is the best mixer for you to go with , It is powerful and efficient and kneed your bread as fast as possible only use speed 1 and 2 when kneading a dough,
I have made bread with this machine 3 times a week from Jan 2017 when my husband bought it for me and I am sure that it will last for years
I make whipped cream in less than 4 minutes with my kitchenAid
Why I didn't gave it 5 star? I drop a star of it first of all because my dough hook came with some scratches and minor imperfections on it , and second my first dough in this mixer got grayish color from the bowl even though I had washed it with soap before making my first dough in it , I end up throwing my dough in the trash can and I made a research to figure out what happened and I saw that they have recommended to scrub your mixer bowl before first use with salt or lemon and wash it and then it is ready to go , I was a little upset because they should have write this important information in the manual ! how should I know that I have to scrub my bowl with lemon or salt? , don't worry it's only for the first time use and if you have read this review then you are lucky because you know what to do :)
I Highly recommend kitchenAid mixer to all my friends.

the Artisan 5 quart is great. It's easy the attachments work like a charm. Easy to change out and easy clean up. This is way beyond mixers. I love it. My next attachment is the noodle maker. I do a lot of meat combos and my meat grinder really does a great job mixing the meats. I use it daily.
