[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only used it 3 times since I bought it 2 weeks ago. I'm impressed, it's quiet, smooth and has plenty of power for what I have been doing. I hope it works as well when I want to make pizza or bread dough. My daughter has the same mixer and has used it for pizza dough and says it works fine.

After getting the Kitchen Aide Artisan Mixer I used it for making cookies, cakes and brownies and realized that I was starting to enjoy baking! The easy of mixing the batter made me wonder why it took me so long to buy one! I will not go back to mixing by hand ever again. I love my Kitchen Aide and am looking forward to buying and using the pasta maker!

I have not had a new mixer for about 40 years. When I bought the KitchenAid it made all the difference in my ability to easily mix ingredients fully. I am really pleased with the locking feature of the bowl (great innovation) and how the mixing mechanism works without me having to scrape the sides of the bowl. The KitchenAid Mixer encourages me to venture into more adventurous recipes! Keep up the good work!

I love everything about this mixer! It is easy to clean, easy to use, and is built to withstand the tests of time. It mixes wonderful frostings, batters, doughs...you name it, it can probably do it. I was gifted the ice cream attachment, but have not yet had an occasion to use it. If I were forced to list a complaint I would say that it is on the heavy side, HOWEVER, I think that adds to the mixer's stability, especially when mixing heavier things like dough. I would also say that it is helpful to buy an extra mixing bowl. I bought a glass one with a lid on it. This is great for things that need to be refrigerated. I would totally recommend this to friends and family.

I went from a hand held mixer to the top of the line with this KitchenAid mixer. I have had it for about a year now and use it almost weekly. I could go on and on about how happy I am with this mixer but to sum it all up, if you are looking to purchase one, you will be happy!
