I had given up on bread making because of arthritic hands but I am back in the game because of the Kitchen Mixer. It kneads dough quickly, efficiently and clean up is minimal.
One small glitch is the "locking mechanism" does not stay engaged when kneading bread. I solved the problem by using an elastic band between the lock knob and the "power port" on the front of the mixer... perfect!

I have never had something like this before! I got his for Christmas from my significant other and cried because this is the thing I have always wanted! It's honestly better than I expected ! I am a huge baker and it has been great for everything I have used it for! Just make sure you look up the "dime test for kitchenaid mixers" before you use it. Mine didn't come calibrated like it was suppose to so the first bunch of frosting I did tasted like metal because the whisk was scraping the bottom. But that's the only bad thing that has happened to me with it

Very happy with my mixer and love how smooth it runs. Then we bought a KItchen Aid dish washer but it has a 4 1/2 week wait to receive. So I wait and I'm still doing the dishes. Will be a happy girl in 3 more weeks.
