I love this! It works fantastic! I've even mixed stone fairly thick stuff and it works like a champ. The only thing I don't like is that the whisk is not dishwasher safe. I'm looking forward to getting more attachments in the future!

For using a Sunbeam stand mixer to moving to this to continue making my cakes, fondant and icings is like going from the desert to a tropical all inclusive retreat! Great speeds, easily mixing (I don't have to keep scraping the bowl all of the time) and handles well when the fondant mixture starts to get thick.
I will never buy another "off" brand for appliances ever and IF for some reason I need to replace this one, it will be with another just like it.

This is my first kitchenaid mixer and now I am wondering why I waited so long to get one. I bake a lot of cookies and this mixer really gets the job done! I also received the icecream maker attatchment as a gift and we love it also,very easy to make great icecream.

I won my mixer in a contest and it's a great machine I've used it several times since the I first got it. Does great for candies, whipped topping, breads, rolls, etc. Even used it during the last canning season and it's a real workhorse that went through all the tomatoes I had for juice and never once did it get hot like I've heard other people talk about when using other brands.
