Love Love the Color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Years ago I had a 5QT mixer and was foolish to let it go as I was purchasing a 6QT. By far the 5QT is more my size and ability to lift. It is a great mixer for everything. I have many, many attachments yet to use.

Low end model for a kitchen aid product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this artisan mixer for baking desserts. Used to make a 3 layer cake. Making the batter, the machine had a hard time running consistently-slowed down, stopped and turned off and back on. Could not beat batter at a consistent speed. Same thing happened with the icing. Motor just not powerful enough. Also, have had other kitchen aid mixers and this one had more plastic parts, cheaper looking beaters (instructions say to not put beater in dishwasher or it will discolor). Cannot recommend this model. Go for a more powerful motor.

I have only had my mixer for a month, so have not yet experienced it breaking down - if it does happen, it will happen later on. I use it multiple times a week and really enjoy it. It would be helpful to have two bowls if you use it a lot.
