I just bought this product but it moves violently even on medium setting. I had the same model for ten years and it worked fine but since I replaced it with the new mixer, it seems to shake.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my second Kitchenaid stand mixer to purchase, only because I have two houses, the first one from 30 years ago is still working beautifully! The new one is performing as well as my other.. It is so easy to use, has so many features and is very easy to clean. I enjoy the many attachments as well. You can make a vegetable lasagna in no time with the slicing attachment. I just cannot say enough about it.

I find this mixer so easy to use. I enjoy baking and was finding mixing cookie dough by hand getting more difficult due to arthritis and this makes it a breeze for me.

My husband and I received our first kitchen aid stand mixer almost 17 years ago as a wedding gift. It worked wonderfully. We not only used the standard mixer function but also have purchased the slicer/shredder, grinder and juicing attachments. I would say the unit was used at least 2-3 times weekly. Unfortunately, I knocked it over and bent the speed control lever. When that occurred before Christmas, I was very upset. We purchased the replacement within 4 days. If it were not for the accident, I am sure it would have lasted another 17 years. The new one works just as great as the original and the accessories work on the new one....Wonderful that we do not have to purchase new accessories. It's a great product and a joy to use.
