I am happy I purchased the 5-quart Artisan style stand mixer. It has great features and the performace is remarkable. Nothing even compares to how great the features are and how easy it is to use. I especially like that you can use all the KitchenAid attachments with it. I love using my stand mixer with the ice cream maker attachment!

I have wanted one of these for about 10 years, and I finally was able to get one. I've only had it for a little while but I'm so impressed with it. I've used other mixers before, but this one worked so much faster and did such a better job of combining the ingredients. I'm looking forward to many years of baking with my new tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a professional model in white for over 20 years. Still worked but had a leak we couldn't explain around the speed area. So got this new one in my favorite color and I am very pleased with its performance. Hoping for another 20+.

I received the kitchenAid stand mixer as a gift form my mom after using hers for many years at her house.I love the color and that it came with a pour-splash guard with it, the whisk is awesome and the paddle and dough hook is a great addition to the mixer. I have wanted one for a long time and I am so excited to have one now in this great mint color.

My gf recently bought this unit. It performs well, but it makes these really, really annoying clicking sounds when it's "loaded" just a little bit. Try googling "kitchenaid clicking noise" and you'll see that it is apparently a well-known problem
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
