We have had our mixer for about a week. The first time my wife used it she had oil leakage in the dough. Also she tried to knead some bread dough with it, and it jumped ever so often. However, she called a KitchenAid representative, and he told us what to do to fix our problem. Since that time we have not had another problem. My wife has put bread dough in the mixer three times, and it has not skipped at all. We just love the mixer.

I purchased my first KitchenAid mixer in November of 1084. I love to bake and have used the same mixer for 32 plus years, it still works great but I wanted to get a new one, love all the colors. So I purchased a new 5 qt tilt mixer. I really love the new scraper beater it is my go to beater. I am giving my old mixer to my niece because it will last her a lot of years. I would recommend this mixer to anyone who loves to bake as much as I do.

when i asked friends 'what stand mixer would you buy?' they unanimously told me...Kitchen Aid. I chose the Artisan in empire red. i'm not disappointed. it looks great on my counter, which is good, bc its a solid piece of equipment, and i'm not moving it from storage to counter each time i use it. the coated tools, beaters and hooks feel sturdy, and look like they'll hold up to alot of use. the instructions seem clearly written and altho there will be a learning curve going from a basic hand mixer to this big boy mixer, i can hardly wait to try it again.

I never saw the need to buy such a piece of equipment, as I am far from being a baker, but I recently decided to start making my own bread and other goodies. I love my mixer, the color, and the possibility to get attachments to it.

I love my Kitchenaid stand mixer. It makes cooking and baking so much faster for me. I used my mom's stand mixer but it couldn't handle things like kneading. I bake breads a lot so this makes that process so much faster. I use this to make mashed potatoes even! I love how you can get different attachments to make this more versatile.
