I received this mixer for christmas and did a fair amount of holiday cookie baking with it. Right out of the box it looked like one of the attachments on the head of the mixer may not have been installed all the way or correctly, as it did not look uniform all the way around. We couldn't adjust this part ourselves, but to be fair, we also did not reach out to KitchenAid about this. It handled all my baking fairly easily but some of the thicker batters seemed to stress the machine and make it almost wobble. I'm not sure if you're only supposed to use the mixer for lighter batters and doughs. At any rate, it's worked fine and I haven't taken it out since Christmas but hopefully it will hold up for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my wife a month ago because she was asking for a counter top mixer and we check different brands and prices, and at the end we got this one even tho she was complaining about the price, but now that she’s been using it and saw what a great mixer is, she is very happy. Like they said “happy wife , happy life”

I have really enjoyed using my new mixer. I had a stand mixer several years ago, but since have used a hand held mixer. I love the fact that I can start something in the mixer and walk away if needed, to get more ingredients. Love the color, I bought the color Ice!
