I have been waiting years to have a KitcheAid mixer in my kitchen and finally have one of my very own. Love it for so many things. Mashed potatoes for family gatherings, mixing, and kneading. It does it all and more.

The first one I bought was defective out of the box but I understand things happen and Kohl's took great care of me and we got the new one up and going soon thereafter. I am not and avid baker but since owning this I have used it for about 8 batches of cookies (it's the season after all), and mixed bread in it once, used it to mix cream cheese, shredded a pork roast and the next thing I plan to do is mashed potatoes!! This mixes so easily it almost makes you want to bake all of the time. Add ingredients according to your recipe and done. Bam. Throw pieces of a roast in and done. Bam.
I've read some issues with flour escaping around the shield, just throw a little less in at a time and that problem is solved for me. Not having to mix cream cheese myself is a sanity saver. I love my Kitchenaid Mixer. It cleans up and wipes down super easily. I always handwash all of my dishes and they look new. I hope to be enjoying "Mable" for many years to come.

The only negative comment is that this mixer will cause weight gain. This is due to the need to make double, even triple, batches of cookie dough. The ease of operation is genius.
