This is my second mixer. I had a classic for over thirty years, nothing wrong with it. I have arthritis in my hands and the bowl was hard to hold when pouring things out. So I upgraded to an artisan with the handle on the bowl. Plus I wanted one in my favorite color---Orange. Gave the classic to a very appreciative friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought this as a Christmas gift and since then I’ve been baking all sorts of things! I grew up with a KitchenAid mixer and have been wanting one of my own for a few years. We’ve had no problems with our mixer, and looking forward to getting the attachments!

I bought my mixer a few weeks ago and have to say I really do love it. Making cookies is so much easier with the mixer than it was mixing up the dough by hand. The stainless steel bowl came with my mixer and even after I cleaned the bowl really well, it still left a little discoloring in my dough. Hope this is something that will eventually correct itself. I was told to use baking soda on the bowl to get the residue off that was still on the metal.
