I got this as a birthday gift on my birthday last June. I have always wanted one because I bake a lot. I do double and triple batches of cookies and always end up with the sugar and butter at the bottom of the bowl no matter how much I mixed it. Now its a snap. I don't know now what I would ever do with out my Kitchenaid artisan mixer. I was so easy to learn how to use it and since then I have purchased attachments for it. I love it. No more electric hand mixers for me ever again.

I received this item as a Christmas gift. I never knew how effortless baking/cooking can be now that I own a high quality mixing. Not only do I like using this mixer, but it has also allowed me the opportunity to interest my children in baking/cooking. Spending time with my daughter (using the mixer) to make food items that people enjoy is the best gift. We use it not only to make family meals, but also homemade snacks for her preschool. It is a great way to engage children and teach them real life skills.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hubby gave this to me as Christmas gift. He wanted homemade pies. Got his wish. I've made pie dough, cakes, bread, rolls and sauces. All were so easy to prepare. I love my mixer!!!
