Artisan 5 Quart Tilt-Head: White

How did my white RRK150WH refurb look when it came out of the box? It was pristine! There was no dent, ding, bang, paint smudge, oil leak, or anything that even looked like another person had first bought it and had to return it. The only thing that I found that was slightly amiss with the unit was slight, black scuff marks on the white cord. This is not a problem for me at all.
The 3 enclosed attachments with this Artisan are: the Coated Paddle/ Beater, the Coated Dough Hook, and the metal Wire Whip. Note that web searches discussed the advantages of having the coated paddle and dough hook because the metal versions all shed bits of their metal into food batter, and the coating also allows for the items to be used in a dishwasher. Luckily, there have been no problems with the wire whip.
The 'stainless steel' bowl made in India, however, flaked metal bits into my batter. I solved this quality issue by cleaning the bowl interior with sodium bicarbonate and apple cider vinegar.

this is by far the cadillac of all mixers! Im 57 and have recently started buying kitchenaid products...why did i wait so long!!!??!! I love the color choices of the Artisan and chose cinnamon. Its absolutely bwautiful! So much versatility and nothing cheap about it! I actually think it will make me enjoy baking more and with all the attachments that are available....opens you up for trying new things. Hoping to make ice cream one day!

No one could make Grandma's cookies like she could, but after I received the KitchenAid Stand Mixer I got the official seal of approval from the whole family! This little genius of a machine makes cooking and baking a breeze and continues to impress me time and time again.

My husband bought me this for a Christmas... the one attachment was peeling off in a spot. I wasn't too thrilled it was already peeling before I even got to use it. I've used it once since then. It seems okay.

I have owned it for one year and have used it pretty well weekly. I also purchased the flex beater and recommend it highly as you do not have to stop and scrape down the bowl. I love the dough hook and use if for anything from bread to making meat loaf. Love this mixer and wish I had purchased it years ago
