I bought the Kitchenaid for one recipe ( can hear the chuckle) but it works great and I am enjoying it very much. It also looks beautiful in the kitchen.
I was wondering though, I have a bread recipe for 9 cups flour is that too much mass for this machine? and If not can I leave the dough to rise in the bowl?

The Artisan Series 5-Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer was a gift for me and my husband from our children. I had long thought about getting one but had always thought my KitchenAid hand mixer was doing a good job. This mixer is wonderful! I've tried out 5 different cake recipes, made whipped cream, meringue and mixed meatloaf. It does everything! It is like having extra hands and cleans really well. I would highly recommend!
