I have always dreamed of owning a Kitchenaid mixer. I finally decided to spend the money and I am very happy with my purchase. Hopefully one day my granddaughter will tell her children how this mixer belonged to her grandmother.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using hand mixers all my life. So finally took the leap into a stand mixer and just got the best one that I thought was out there based on watching cooking shows on YouTube.
It is really refreshing to have a machine stir by itself without having to hold a hand mixer. I'm able to prepare other ingredients at the same time and baking just feels faster and more efficient. It's more pleasant to bake when I have good tools like this. I do like that it is made or at least assembled in the USA particularly during this time of Covid & getting Americans back to work.
My one complaint is the bowl doesn't come in and out so easily. There is some force needed to turn it the quarter-turn when locking/unlocking it in place. Might be just as well because the machine does have a lot of power and if kneading a sticky dough it might need that resistance to keep in place.

I love, Love, LOVE my Kitchen Aid stand mixer! This apliance handles handles all of my baking needs with speed and efficiency - bread and pizza doughs, whipping cream and egg whites, mixing batters and doughs. The Kitchen Aid's power does the job effortlessly and quickly.
