[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter and son-in-law gave me my Ktchen Aid mixer for Christmas. I have used it multiple times each week since then and can’t wait to make new recipes each time. I have purchased additional attachments and have more in my shopping cart. I only wish the plastic guard was constructed better so it would actually be usable.

I had never used a stand mixer before and had done everything by hand or with a hand mixer. The stand mixer is now my favorite new appliance! It's made making mashed potatoes, cookies, meatballs, etc. that much easier!
It's easy to clean and the different heads are great.

I was sooo happy when my husband bought this as a Christmas gift for me. This comes with an easy locking metal bowl, and three heads, and the mixer comes in your choice of some delightful colors. I am an avid baker, but have found that age and twinges of arthritis have made some recipes harder for me to make. This appliance has opened up bread making for me, as well as a host of other tasks such as whipping egg whites, and making cookie dough. No more standing forever with an underpowered hand mixer.
