Right before Christmas our handheld mixer gave out while making Christmas cookies we made a mad dash to town and ended up with a new KitchenAid stand mixer. Best purchase ever made, don't know why we waited so long. Since then have used it not only for cookies but also for noodle dough, so much easier to clean up then the food processer was .
