I had contemplated for many years about upgrading my Kitchen Aid mixer. Finally this year with the rebate I decided to do it. It was the best decision ever, now when I make my butter I do not need to cover my mixer to avoid splashing the deep bowl is great and the pour spout works like a charm. I now do everything possible with my mixer from creaming cheese balls to mixing my meat loaf. I did try to make bread and it did not turn out, I may have used old flour, but my pizza crusts are spectacular. I did just order the meat grinder to start grinding my own hamburger, we will see how that works out soon. I also already had the slicer/shredder and that is another spectacular gadget for your mixer.

My mom has a Kitchen Aid mixer. She has had hers for at least ten years and loves it. So, when it was time for me to get my own mixer, I didn't think twice! I did get one model up from the one my mom has because I do a lot of baking (large batches of cookies) and thought a slightly larger one might be better. It works flawlessly! I also have the attachment that rests on top of the mixing bowl which allows ingredients to be more easily added...works great!

Couldn't wait to get it out of the box and use it for the first time!
