Cooking for 40 at First Prez Thursday Community dinner. Now have a gimpy right arm and can't stir big pots or peel potatoes. Got a whole big box of biscuit mix in bowl and it stirred perfectly in a moment. The potato peeler also did a good job.

This is my second KitchenAid stand mixer. I got the first for Christmas in 1999. I gave that one to my friend when I bought this one. There was nothing wrong with it. I had just always wanted the red one (last one was white) so I bought it for myself for Christmas this year. I use mine to make homemade chorizo among other things. I couldn't imagine doing all that mixing by hand.

I have wanted one of these mixers for years. Due to cost, I had been unable to purchase one until now. I got married in April and received a number of gift cards so I was able to put them together to finally purchase my dream mixer with only minimal out of pocket costs to me. I make cakes and do a lot of baking; it is a sort of side business for me and over the past 13 years I have burned up the motor in about 8 regular mixers. I am so excited to have my kitchen aid mixer! It is easy to use and clean up is a snap! My dream of owning this mixer finally came true and I couldn't be happier!
