I love my kitchen aid mixer and waited so long to finally be blessed to own one in my kitchen!! It is heavy duty, easy to change out attachments and can do just about anything to mert my baking and cooking habits!!

I don't normally write reviews, but I had to say a few things about the Kitchen Aid Artisan 5 qt Mixer. I purchased this item a little over a month ago, and have been using it about twice a week. I have made 11 cakes since i bought it. 5 cakes were made for Mothers Day. I have made every kind of buttercream I could find a recipe of. I am now hinting at the hubby to purchase attachments for me. I think I would really like to have the pasta maker. This is truly the best item I have ever purchased.

I already had a yellow Artisan Series mixer and when we bought a second home I needed another one. Love the color-light blue! I have made bread, cakes, and more cakes. This mixer will do anything! I advise to buy the attachments available for this model.

Surely a stand mixer is one of the most-requested items for wedding registries. And there's a reason! My new husband and I got this KitchenAid mixer for our wedding, and it's completely worth the amount of counterspace it takes up in our small apartment. We use it for every baking project, from pizza dough to cookies, and it's made these projects so much easier! It's also allowed me to try things I've never been able to do before, like meringues (I don't have the patience to use a hand mixer for the amount of time necessary to get stiff peaks!). It's also worth it to get the real KitchenAid version rather than a knock-off. My in-laws have had their stand mixer for over 40 years, and it still works like a charm.
