Good capacity time-saver

I bought this for my girlfriend. She used it to make muffins for Christmas. Usually she'd have to mix the dough three times because the mixer she had wasn't big enough. With this 5-Quart mixer she could mix all the dough at once. It saved her quite a bit of time, especially since she could only make the muffins after work in the evening.

My last kitchen aid lasted 16 years and it had been refurbished. Actually it's still useable I just needed one with more power. My children bought mine for me at Christmas. It's awesome. Size and power are great. Couldn't have asked for anything better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used a kitchen aid. You might say it is in my genes. My grandmother had one as far back as the 50's. We recently bought a second home and I love to bake so decided this kitchen needed a mixer. I decided not to get the large one since I don't plan on needing that, but since getting it a month ago I have baked so many yummy things my husband told me to stop baking. That is going to be difficult for me having it on the counter. It whips, beats and mixes so perfectly. I actually like that you lift the mixer instead of lowering the bowl on this version. It is the perfect size for the casual baker.
