I have never had a stand mixer before... I decided to go for it! I am getting older and have arthritis and osteoporosis. I love to cook. This mixer makes it so much easier to do so! I plan on making bread (whole grain) with it soon. So far, I have made some other baked goods and it has been such a breeze. I had no idea how simple it would make it to do so. It is such a breeze to use and it cleans up so easily! I bought a cloth cover (also red) for it, as it sits on the ocunter near my stove and I dont want it to get splattered. It is so beautiful! The mixer is a work of art and also so very functional! I think it was a wonderful purchase even though my kitchen is small. I wish I had purchased one of thes years ago!!

The only true Mixer you need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my KitchenAid mixer because my mother had one for over 30 plus years and it still worked when I got it. This is a mixer that is built to last and you just don't have problems with it let alone having to replace it in a few years. They run even more than a John Deere!

I got this mixer at Christmas time and love it! I borrowed my daughter-in-laws mixer a few months ago to make shortbread cookies because it is almost impossible to mix them with a hand mixer. I love to bake even more now than I used to. The mixer comes in so many colors that you will be pleased with how it looks in your kitchen.

The Kitchenaid Artisan was a retirement gift from my sisters and mother who are all good bakers/cooks. Prior to receiving it, I used a hand mixer for many years. I also used to teach our two children how to bake. Now, I wonder how I ever got along without the Artisan! It is easy to use, does so much more than my old hand mixer and saves me time. I am a very happy lady now!!
