I've been wanting a kitchen aid mixer for going on 17 years now. After my birthday, I decided to finally treat myself and get one. I'm very happy with my decision. Both my husband and I use it almost daily. We do a lot of cooking and trying new recipes. It helps make the texture of everything we make perfect. It's easy to use and easy to clean, which is good since we don't have a dishwasher. I would only complain that there's not a lid for the bowl, which my mom's came with. But she got hers over 20years ago. Also, the switch for the different speeds isn't very fluid. I don't know if I'm supposed to grease it or what. But I know my mom's mixer switch was very smooth...again, this was 20 years ago, and maybe the mixers are made a little differently now. These are very minor complaints overall, and the mixer is just what I wanted. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Bought this beauty with some extra giftcards from my wedding. It is beautiful. I ordered the Pistachio color online without seeing it in person and it is perfect. It is a beautiful Southern shade of green and makes me so happy when I see it.
I haven't used it for dough, yet. But everything that I have used it for so far (shredding chicken, mixing) has worked perfectly, I can only assume it will live up to its reputation. I highly recommend!
