[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been waiting for a new stand mixer for a couple of years and was going to wait until I could get this one, which is exactly what I wanted. It was a Christmas gift from my boyfriend and he did GOOD. In two weeks, I've made three batches of cookies, bread, and frosting. I did have to adjust the bowl clearance but they make it clear how to do that. I can't wait to see what else I can do with this mixer.
(Also, just listening to my boyfriend talk about how he has never felt dumber than when he's trying to find a great stand mixer had me rolling: "I know what dough means. I know what a hook is. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY MEAN TOGETHER.")

It's everything I hoped for! I was a little reserved able buying such an expensive mixer and thought one of the $75-100 ones would be good enough bit I'm glad I splurged. Definitely happy with what I got. The only thing I wish was different would be the mixer blade. I wish they would just give the one with the rubber spatula attached but it's not that big of a deal.

Don't be fooled into thinking this is only for bakers. I used this all the time and rarely bake. And it is the only machine that I (as a kitchen designer) allow to be on my countertops all the time, because it is so beautiful. And did I mention that with the accessories it does everything, everything, you need. Love this.

I bought this mixer a year a go thought I would use it all the time but I find myself using my old mixer instead. On my Artisan 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer I think the bowl is too close and I have to stop the mixer to strap the sides and bottom of bowl this take long to mix than my old mixer. It's too heavy for easy handing,can't use any other bowl with it. Otherwise I think it's a great mixer. It was my dream mixer before I bought it, still love the mixer except. Maybe a younger person.
