I recently remodeled my kitchen and unexpectedly found a mixer in the color of my walls. Found this and decided to replace my old almond color one which I had for at least 15 years . It still works great so there was not question of quality. My new mixer just adds the perfect finishing touch to my new kitchen.

This is my second KA mixer, I bought the first one used when I started taking decorating lessons. My husband bought me this new one for a Valentine's Day gift (no, he didn't get in hot water for that, I WANTED a new one - besides he will get just as much enjoyment from it as I will). My only problem is with the pour shield. it moves around and doesn't stay on the bowl. Still trying to figure that out.

Nice little mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a larger mixer that does not tilt and like to use this one when making smaller batches of dough. It is more convenient to just tilt the unit to scrape the bowl or add ingredients and remove the bowl than the other one. The red color matches my other Kitchenaid items perfectly and looks great on my counter

I did not realize how much I would enjoy baking. It has taken me 34 years of using the hand mixer I got when I got married...thinking that was the best, but no way! I now find it so much easier, I will use it for anything I can think of.
