I love my KitchenAid Artisan mixer, it is fast and easy to use, also very quiet, and all the attachments work well. I chose a periwinkle one for my kitchen and it looks stunning on my counter. I would recommend this product to my family and friends.

The only disturbing thing was the first batch of sweet bread I made. When scraping the bowl, a silver residue came off with the dough. When researching on the KitcheAid site, I found out it is a film applied to the stainless steel in some cases. I had washed the bowl prior to using it, but it was not sufficient. My batch was ruined. I learned how to clean it and have not had a problem since. However, it would have been better if the manual had addressed this issue prior to my first prep washing of the bowl.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mixer replaces another one that I wore out after 40 years of bread baking. The quality and durable makes it all worthwhile. I never doubt it can stand up to anything I put it through. From bread baking to using all the additional attachments such as meat grinding (married to a hunter), pasta making and even ice cream making...it never lets me down.
