had first one for over 30 years. it had not quit, but sounding like motor was going, so got new one before I had a crisis. the bowl shield is not as good as the old one, bowl it taller so they had to put a split in it. love that my old bowl and shield fix the new mixer, love that all my attachments work on the new one. I have a John Deere green and yellow kitchen, so the green matches perfectly!! new one sounds so smooth and nice!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My only regret is that I wish I would have purchased this mixer years ago! I do a lot of cooking and baking and have always thought about getting this stand mixer but never went through with it. I purchased one for my daughter as a 30th birthday present and went back the same day to treat myself to one after all of these years. I have used mine almost daily since I've purchased it and can't imagine life without it now! I'm looking forward to picking up some of the other attachments soon too.
