Heavy to lift

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a hand mixer for over 30 years and always wanted a stand mixer. I like to keep my countertops clear of appliances, so I store my mixer in a cabinet. The mixer is very heavy and hard to lift from my cabinet to the counter. I have gone back to using my hand held mixer.
I had to adjust the mixer blade depth but fortunately it was easy to do. The instructions were easy to understand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Having been in the culinary field when I was younger, I have always known that quality is a cost you pay once. I knew I wanted a KitchenAid mixer for years and was so pleased when my wife got me one.....ten years ago (?). You'd never guess by looking at it today. Looks and performs as good as the day I took it out of the box. It has made countless baked goods, whipped enough mashed potatoes to feed a small city, and has been the only way I do ground meat, by using the grinder and doing it myself. It has never wavered, slowed, or given me a hint of problems. I am meticulous about keeping it clean after every use and it occupies a proud space, uncovered, for all to see on my counter.
My greatest joy, though, has been watching my daughter grow up using it. It is for this reason I got her one as a wedding gift for her special day in 3 weeks. She is much younger than I was when I got mine but I know it will last her a lifetime and what more can you ask for. Thanks for a product that lasts and never goes out of style.

I never have any problems with a kitchen aid appliances. I love the size of the bowl and the tilt head.
I also like it because my granddaughters can help me mix up their favorite cookie batter. It's easier
for them to stop the beatters, tilt the head back and they can add the ingredients.
