My husband bought this as a present for me because my hands are weak from Rheumatoid arthritis..What a joy, I am back to baking, even baking bread weekly. This machine does an incredible job kneading. I was especially impressed when I made a party sized bowl of mashed potatoes, which would have been difficult to get so wonderfully creamy by hand. I cant believe the strength if this machine, and what a time saver ! I love my Kitchen Aid Artisan Stand Mixer ..mine is in Black and a beautiful centerpiece to my kitchen decor.Best appliance ever !

I bought my first stand mixer six years ago and it is still running great. I like it so much that I bought another one to keep at my parents' house. I like it because it does such a great job at consistently mixing/kneading my ingredients that I know everything I make will come out equally tasty time after time.

Even better than my high expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had purchased two of these for my daughters several years ago. They have always told me how much they enjoy them. I found myself with a desire to do some serious baking this holiday season. Based upon my daughters’ comments I expected my new KitchenAid mixer to do a great job. It did, but it also made baking easier as I could do more than one thing at a time and it made my desserts that much better because I could actually mix for the amount of time recommended by the recipes, rather than mix until it looked correct which is what I previously did. I am very happy I bought a KitchenAid for dad this year!
