This was purchased in November 2013, the best thing I added to my Kitchen in a long time, my bretzles, cakes noodle dough, pizza dough are fantastic, I could go on forever, made these things with hands, I am 63 so this is again the best tool ever. It used to be that my family and friends would have to wait before I would make the above, but now it is on a regular basis.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the mixer as a gift from my daughter. I’ve been using my mom’s old post World War II GE for years. I can’t believe how well the Kitchen Aid works compared to the old mixer, and the Kitchen Aid appears to be just as durable... still keeping the old one for a backup though!

I started my three days of cooking for our family's Thanksgiving meal and my old mixer started smoking! I knew I would never get all the cooking done without a mixer so I looked thru the weekend ads and found this mixer (which I've always wanted--and now I had a really good excuse to buy!). I bought it online then went to the local store to pick it up and came home and was deliriously happy with the results. KitchenAid saved Thanksgiving at our house. Now it's time to start the thousands of cookies which I bake for Christmas to give away to friends, family, neighbors, the mail lady, car service techs, beautician, doctors, etc that we deliver to every year. Can't wait to start mixing!!!!
