Before I bought my KitchenAid Stand Up Mixer, I was using a hand held mixer/beater. Immediately I noticed how much fluffier my frosting was after using my KitchenAid. All that I can say is, "WoW!!!"

Makes mixing batter, dough, and other items a breeze. Like the plastic shield although wish it was a little more sturdy. A piece of the coating on one of the attachments flaked of right out of the box but so far hasn't seemed like a big deal. I plan on purchasing a different beater blade anyway.

The KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer had been on my wish list for two years. I finally purchased it last month and I am overjoyed. Now, I just wish that I had done so much earlier. It is everything I had envisioned and more. Slowly but surely, I am adding all of the attachments. Need I say more? Buy it and you will love it. It is a perfect investment for someone like me who loves to bake as well as cook.
