For the past 50 years I have been using a white Kitchen Aide Mixer that my mother-in-law used before I did. One day it just literally blew apart! I was devastated. I felt lost without it. I could not bake cookies, bake a cake, make bread, make quick bread, mix up meat loaf...without my mixer I was lost! After one week there was no doubt in my mind that I just simply could not get along without a Kitchenaid. So I tearfully said goodbye to my old white mixer and replaced it with a new red 5-Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer. Ahhhh...it feels so good to have a Kitchenaid back in my kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how easy and powerful this mixer is. I alsooved the attachment: the meat grinder. I have grounded 1 pound of beef and 1 pond of pork for my meatloaf in a matter of minutes. The parts are solid and easy to assemble.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an oatmeal cookie recipe that has coconut, rice krispies, and chocolate chips. It is so difficult to mix by hand that my husband actually broke my heaviest wooden spoon.
Well first thing I did to try out my new Kitchenaid mixer was to put all those ingredients into it and turn it on wow, it mixed it up like soft cake batter! I love my new mixer!!!
